La Spezia

La Spezia is a pretty city located in the homonymous gulf, better known as the Gulf of Poets.
Its "strategic" position makes it an excellent starting point for visiting the most seductive places of its Province such as the famous Cinque Terre, Lerici and Portovenere. The historic center of the city has become a real tourist attraction in recent years. The perfect place to discover the fascinating history of this center, where typical serpentine alleys and old architectural buildings are still preserved. Among the various tourist attractions, the Mediaval Castle of San Giorgio, the Seal Museum, the Amedeo Lia Museum, the Naval Museum and the adjacent Military Arsenal to which the city of La Spezia owes a large part of its development stand out. La Spezia also boasts a splendid seafront promenade called "Passeggiata Morin", located on the tourist pier of the city which connects to the innovative "Porto Mirabello", home of the summer nightlife, via a beautiful pedestrian bridge overlooking the sea.
